Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 SD "Street Fighter"
The collaboration between Onitsuka Tiger and Street Fighter centers on Chun-Li, the “First Lady of Fighting” originally featured in Street Fighter II (1991) - today one of the highest grossing video games of all time, Pacman and Space Invaders. Onitsuka Tiger uses its legendary Mexico 66 SD sneaker for this collaboration.
The sneaker has the colors white and ice gray. It has a lino cut dragon print along the leather upper and the Street Fighter badge on the heel. What the collaboration has also delivered is that each sneaker is accompanied by a product-specific code card that allows gamers to change Chun-Li's outfit, including the shoes, in-game. Another great innovation that not only enters the virtual world into physical space, but also the other way around. Fantastic, a nice tribute to the characteristic staircase of Chun-Li the “Kakukyakuraku” that is tossed from behind. And you will then be walking with sneakers that Chun-Li also wears.
